The first two weeks of Lorelei's summer vacation included strawberry picking, shopping, firepits, singing the National Anthem at a Dockhounds game, the beginning of rehearsals for "Descendants", a trip to Madison to see "Water For Elephants", the movie theater, Father's Day, and more !!!
Lorelei's 8th Grade Graduation was perfect. Aaron and Jamie scored front row seats by arriving super early, the 8th grade choir performed a song, and wonderful speeches that may or may not have made Mama Jamie cry a few times.
As a graduation present, Mama treated Lorelei to a charity event called the "Broadway Bash" and it was at the Marcus Center. The main reason we went was the performance artist was Eva Noblezada, who is currently starring on Broadway's, "The Great Gatsby". Mama Jamie might have gone for a different reason.
Lorelei had her last (sniff sniff) choir concert at Silver Lake and was also presented with another theatre scholarship (yah!).
