The Nursery Has Started.
This past weekend we began working on the baby's nursery. We decided to use our third bedroom which we currently use half of it as an office and the other half is for exercising. We moved all of the exercise stuff downstairs to the basement area and the office is now in our guest bedroom. It was a lot of work, but, well worth it. Here's a pic....it's not much, but, it's a start.

Daddy's Blog
Aaron here. My boss called me into his office on the morning of 3/12/12 and said, "somebody told me you've got some exciting news." I could tell he knew I was going to be a father, but I didn't know how he could possibly have known since I had no plans to tell my employers about our pregnancy until I figured out how I wanted to handle the time off. So, I said "what do you know about some exciting news for me?" He explained that he was Facebook "friends" with FOX6 News Correspondent, Tami Hughes, and saw a post that Jamie had made on Tami's page. Of course, Jamie's profile picture was a sonogram of "our little Hardt." I guess it's just as well as now I have plenty of time to plan with my employers the best way to handle my desire to take all (3) months of my Family Medical Leave Act with the reality that there's no way a salesperson can do that and hit his target. My other boss had a great suggestion which Jamie actually did - she went back to Tami Hughes' page and posted: "Aaron Hardt is excited that his boss is allowing him to work only (1) day a week after the baby's born!"

Babymoon
We just got back from our 'Babymoon' in Cabo, Mexico. It was a great last vacation before we have to start staying home and acting like grown-ups. We had a fabulous time laying by the pool, going on excursions to the city, seeing wild horses, and eating like crazy. Here are a few fun pics:
Telling My Cycle Class
So, for over 6 months now I've taught a Tuesday morning 5:45am cycle class. They are a great bunch of people and they teased me that they keep having to get new instructors because they all get pregnant and leave. So, when we found out we were pregnant, it was the hardest to keep it from them! However, I wanted to reveal my news at the perfect time. So, I made a cycle routine to songs all about babies or having babies. We were about halfway through and I asked if anyone has caught on to the theme of today's ride. I couldn't believe they guessed immediately. Here's the set list and the video of me telling them.
