Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

The three of us had a very eventful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday, we made an ill-fated trip to Devil's Lake State Park to explore and to specifically see the Devil's Door rock. Unfortunately, we didn't know it was a 90 minute hike to the rock and was going to be impossible with a stroller and very difficult carrying Lorelei the whole time. So, instead we continued to travel to Camp Williams where there are incredible rock formations. The climb was just challenging enough for everyone! On the way home, we stopped at the Mexicano Restaurant & Buffet for dinner and Ella's Deli for dessert. We took Lorelei on her first merry-go-round. She wanted nothing to do with the Green Bay Packer painted horse Mommy picked out for her.

On Monday, it was a typical Wisconsin Memorial Day and was cold and rainy all day. We stayed in our pajamas and played and napped all day. Here are some fun pics in one of the cutest, but, most difficult outfits to put on.

Beach Baby!!

Today, Lorelei and I walked up to the city park and beach. We hung out under a shady tree and played and then ventured out into the sand. She was very interested in the sand and kept inspecting it. Such a cutie!!

Mother's Day Weekend

This past weekend was our first official Mother's Day weekend. Grandma Honey and Pop hosted an open house for Auntie Andra and her new French family (Jean-Marc, Anna, and new baby due in September). Lorelei looked extra cute in her French beret and was a doll! Everyone wanted to hold her and was great at showing off her army crawling skills.

Also, Aaron's cousins Kimmie, Jason, and Julie are staying with us all weekend. It was great to open up Hardt Hotel to everyone.

I'm Ready For My Close Up!

Last Sunday, Lorelei had her first real official photo session at the mall. We timed her meals and naps perfectly well and was fantastic and gave us some nice poses and smiles.

Lorelei's First Charity Walk

Last week Lorelei went on her first charity walk. It was the Lake Walk for Cancer. We were on team, Angie's Boo-bees (because every baby deserves the very breast). Angie is the lactation consultant that we see at our breastfeeding support group every week. Lorelei was great and we walked 2 miles and had a hot dog snack afterwards. As you can see, she is definitely not a vegetarian.
