Wisconsin Dells Trip!

We finally went on our Wisconsin Dells trip that Daddy Aaron got Mama Jamie for Christmas 2013. We began with a fantastic 90 minute roadtrip in which Lorelei slept almost the entire way. When we got there we went to a recommended restaurant, MAC's, in which they offer gourmet mac n cheese (http://macandcheeseshop.com/). Aaron had the Buffalo Chicken Mac 'N' Cheese, Jamie had the Baked Potato Mac 'N' Cheese, and Lorelei had the Kiddie Mama Mac (mac n cheese WITH hot dog). Let's just say this was the most AMAZING mac 'n' cheese and blows Noodles & Company out of the water!

We then walked the downtown area of the Dells where we looked at the water, went shopping to all the tourist traps...err...I mean stores, and had the most fun in all the mechanical rides located throughout the area.

We then checked in at our hotel and had fun taking Lorelei on her first boat ride (Daddy rowed a boat!), and then had the best time swimming in the hotel pool.

In the evening, Mama Jamie went to Sundara Day Spa where I enjoyed the Purifying Spa Bath Ritual (http://www.sundaraspa.com/services/purifying.html), then the Chocolate Indulgence Experience, and finally a Signature Pedicure. While Mama was relaxing, Daddy and Lorelei went to Cold Stone Creamery for dessert, back in the pool, and settled back at the hotel to watch the Brewer game.

The next morning, we found a cute, little diner with an oldies music theme, followed by a visit to the outlet mall where they had a Farmer's Market going on, and then the Kalahari Indoor Theme Park.

I think we wore her out, as, she was asleep with animal crackers in hand, literally within 2 minutes of being back on the road to go home.

1st Brewers Game !!!

We woke up with nothing to do and wondering what to fill the day with. Well, lo and behold 2 hours later we were planning our day around taking Lorelei to her first Brewers game !!! A friend and colleague of mine at the YMCA had four, free extra tickets, so, I (naturally) grabbed them so we could give Lorelei her first Milwaukee Brewers baseball experience. After a nap and a cranky wake up, we were good to go.

 Our 1st Brewers game certificate!

1st taste of Secret Stadium Sauce

We also explored the 'kids section' and Lorelei got to see Bernie and all the racing sausages in some form or another.

We did not want to smile for this picture.

She was not hurt at all.

We then decided to visit Grandma-ma and Papa for a Packer Pizza (and then some) party.

Relaxing Week

It's been a pretty normal, relaxing week so far (for the most part). Our highlights of the week have been going to the Concord Zoo for a picnic and having an impromptu photo shoot.
