VACATION !!!

It was only for a little over 24 hours, but, Aaron and Jamie had their first overnight vacation this week without Lorelei. It began Tuesday night when Grandma-ma and Papa came over to watch Lorelei so we could go out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants out here (Le Rendezvous). We followed that with Jamie dragging Aaron to see "50 Shades Of Grey" which we unanimously renamed "50 Shades Of Stupid". In our opinion, don't even wait for the DVD...just don't even bother. It was horrible.

While we were gone, Grandma-ma, Papa, and Lorelei played, snacked on Culver's, and apparently took selfies.

The next day we took a much needed, much deserved, all expense paid (thanks to Daddy being so good at his job) overnight vacation to Sundara Inn & Day Spa (www.sundaraspa.com). Aaron received the Sundara Body Boost, a facial, and a pedicure. Jamie received the chocolate experience, a massage, and also a pedicure. While we were indulging in our services, Grandma Honey came over to relieve Grandma-ma. Honey took some awesome pictures capturing her play time with Lorelei.

What to do with so many friends?!?!

Ice skating poses.

And, besides a picture of our room service (chicken quesadillas and bread pudding), we have no pictures of our experience at Sundara because the grounds don't allow cameras or cell phones. :)

Zoo School !!

Last week, Mama Jamie took Lorelei to her first zoo education class at the Milwaukee County Zoo. It was all about bugs. She learned about grasshoppers, ladybugs, beetles, butterflies, did crafts, and even touched a cockroach (multiple times!).

Happy Valentine's Weekend !!

We spent Friday the 13th making homemade candy hearts, cupcakes, and working on craft projects.

We received a very nice Valentine's card from Grandma-ma.

On Saturday, Lorelei played at the Children's Play Gallery with her cousin, Voxie. Lorelei was there for 5 hours !!!

After a much needed nap, we went to the YMCA for the Little Sweetheart Dance. We danced, did crafts, the bouncy house, and then cupcakes at home.

And, on Sunday we went to the Schauer Center in Hartford to see the children's play, "Curious George". Lorelei sat for an hour straight!!! She even brought her own George dollie with.
