Lorelei's First Parade!

We were honored to be part of the Hartland Hometown Celebration Parade this past Sunday. We walked with my friend and her company, Lake Country Family Fun. It was a lot of fun throwing out candy to the kids on the route and seeing friends we know. Lorelei did pretty good for about 3/4 thru and then wanted out. She was really cute then helping me hand out the candy.

 

Happy Father's Day!

We had a fantastic Father's Day as the entire family got together for brunch at the Cheesecake Factory where Lorelei sat in the high chair and ate her meal like a very good, grown up girl. We ended the experience with free cheesecakes thanks to nicely complaining for a long weight AND Lorelei went poo-poo in the potty there! :)

 

 

We then went over to Mayfair Mall for a Lego display they had throughout the entire mall.

 



 

After dinner, Daddy, Mama, and Lorelei all went to the Imagination Station for family playtime. It was pretty late, so, we had the place to ourselves. They have an amazing new swing--checkout the video below! Lorelei is VERY strong and loves to swing on anything she can get her hands on.

 

 

Kitty Cat !!

We went to the city beach last night for their monthly free concert at the band shell. We had the most fun playing in the sand and getting our face painted. She always sits so still for this----she LOVES it!

 

 

 

Strawberry Picking !!!

Since strawberry picking season is a limited window, we want to go as much as we can. So, we have gone twice already this week. Once by ourselves and once with Grandma Honey! And, like last year, I think Lorelei ate more than she picked. :)

Potty Training 101

So, we are all learning as we go along this next adventure. Lorelei started officially potty training this past Sunday. We stayed home for the majority of the day and Lorelei went on the potty 9 times !!! We have learned stickers and Dollar Store prizes are a good incentive. Also, Mama has learned that giving Lorelei her iPhone to play with as an incentive is not good unless Mama wants to spend an hour trying to figure out how to undo all the changes Lorelei made to it!
