Happy Memorial Day !!

We had a great Memorial Day this year as we were blessed with great weather and a happy girl (as we were very cranky the day before). We went for a walk and played at the park, we played baseball, soccer, slip n slide, sprinkler, saw the Oconomowoc parade, and went out for Chinese (isn't that a tradition)? :)

 

Panther Fun !!

Today was the most incredible, awesome day. We participated in a 5K run at Lorelei's elementary school, Park Lawn Elementary. The Panther Dash and Kids Fun Run was just fantastic. Honey and Pop came out to watch Lorelei while Mama Jamie and Daddy Aaron ran. We ran very well and very fast at both coming in under 28 minutes and only 3 seconds apart !!!

 

 

 

 

Lorelei also participated in the Kids Run and she did awesome. It was a 1/4 mile !!! And, she ended up finishing with the school's principal, Mrs. Jennifer Jones.

FIELD TRIP !!!

This past Wednesday was Lorelei's first field trip with her Sunshine School. We went to the Children's Play Gallery in which Lorelei was very familiar with. We stayed for about 3 hours and she had a great time.

Lorelei came running into our room at 5:30am excited and ready for her field trip.

After breakfast, we first stopped at Roots coffee shop next door to the gallery for a snack. 

 

Lorelei spent most of her time at the gallery with her 'boyfriend', Gabriel.

 

We also got to see how they do snack time and the special song they sing every week.

 

 

Pugfest !!!

It had been several years since we've been to Pugfest. Mama Jamie took Lorelei down to Franklin for the event while Daddy caught up on some sleep from his album night he had the night before. After a morning snack at Lorelei's favorite restaurant, we were on our way.

 

 

Lorelei fell asleep on the way home and we got home to find Daddy STILL sleeping. She then curled up with him in bed and fell asleep cuddled up with him and her brand new pug balloon.

 

4K Orientation

Last week, we attended the 4K 'Round-Up' which is an orientation to Lorelei's 4K school/class. Earlier that day, Lorelei had her hair cut and styled for the occasion and since it had been 6 months since she had a haircut! And, of course, we played at her school playground.
