Nature Hill Trail

We also got around to visiting Nature Hill Trail in Oconomowoc. It is a 1 mile loop trail with a fitness circuit section in it. We had a lot of fun hiking and exercising.

Green Meadows Farm

We took Lorelei again to the Green Meadows Farm last week. It was another great day playing with chickens, kittens, donkeys, pigs, goats, and much more. We even got to play on the zipline this time. Lorelei mastered it immediately and must have done it at least 20 times--not exaggerating. :)

 

 

Brewer Game

We had the most awesome time at a Brewer game this week. We played on the playgrounds, went down a mini-Bernie slide (over and over again), ran, pitched, and so much more. AND, we actually sat and watched about 2 innings of the game. :)

 

Fun Birthday Weekend !!!

We celebrated Lorelei's birthday weekend by going to the Bear Den Zoo (which was great--she got to pet live deer, hold a monkey, kitten, duck, and more). We then had a great dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and the next day we went to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

 

 

 

We spent about 5 hours at the aquarium. We saw about every type of fish in existence, dolphins, beluga whales, sharks, sting rays, a 'spider' crab, and even a rare blue lobster.

 

 

 

We ended our day at The Silo, a restaurant in Libertyville where Aaron grew up. We shared salad, pizza, and the waitress earned her tip when she brought a free ice cream sundae to the birthday girl.

 

 

4th Birthday Party !!!

For Lorelei's 4th birthday party, we had a "Frozen" extravaganza. It began withIt started with a brand new Elsa dress, followed by a 40 minute visit from the most beautiful, talented Elsa we've ever seen. We then finished up the day by playing with 12 friends at the Children's Play Gallery.
