Lake Country Community Fest

For many years in a row, we have been attending Lake Country Community Fest. Every year keeps getting better and better. As usual, there were countless mascots for Lorelei, a bounce house, the Wienermobile, a storytime, prizes, games, etc. And, this year, Aaron got to meet NFL player Nick Hayden and Jamie even got to tackle him !!

St. Patrick's Day and "Trolls"

Last Friday was St. Patrick's Day and we had lots of fun with a school party and Lucky the Leprechaun visiting us.

Mama and Lorelei made yummy treats for her class party.

Then, later that night her school had movie night and showed "Trolls".

They had some raffle prizes and Lorelei won a bouquet of Trolls balloons!!! And, our sweet girl, even wanted to give some away to her friends that were there that night.

Lorelei's second report card was released today. We are very proud of our smart cookie !!

"Cinderella"

We took Lorelei to a fantastic performance of "Cinderella" put on by Silver Lake Intermediate School. This will be her school for grades 5-8. After the show, she was able to sit in the coach with Cinderella and the Prince and meet all of the cast afterwards.

Retzner Center Field Trip

Last week we went on a field trip to the Retzner Center. Although, we've been there several times, we always see and do something new. This time, the class went on a long hike looking for paw prints and other signs that they've been there. We saw several paw prints, a few burrow holes, and more.
