Spring Break Continues

Spring Break week continued with a Tae Kwon Do camp, our first 'real' pedicure, out to breakfast, parks, library visits, the movies, and more!

Spring Break 2019

Lorelei and I started Day 1 of Spring break with a bang !!! After a morning at the YMCA, we drove out to Madison for the day. After some adulting and talking to our tax lady, we hit the Madison Zoo. We got to see some incredible things including porcupines, very loud roaring lions, a snake eating a mouse, and on the 3rd attempt at the red pandas--they were FINALLY AWAKE !!!! They were awake and moving, playing, eating, and climbing. We stayed for 40 minutes watching them !!! We were SO happy to finally see red pandas awake !!!

We then went to several of our favorite stops including a new one. We hit Brennan's Market for free samples and a few of our favorite groceries, Hurts Donuts for well donuts :), and our new spot was in Jefferson on the way home. We have heard about Wedl's Hamburgers for a few years now, but, we never got to visit them until now. We heard it was their first day of the season open and thought it would be perfect day to visit. Well, so, did pretty much everyone else in Wisconsin as we waited 90 minutes for cheeseburgers. Yes, we waited 90 minutes for cheeseburgers. Lorelei killed the time while playing chase and tag with other kids waiting for their burgers and Mama made friends with the locals. And, yes, they were worth the wait.

1st Grade Concert

Lorelei's 1st grade concert was this week.

Cancun, Baby !!!

Last week we surprised Lorelei with a trip to Cancun. We had the best time. We had perfect travel and we all ate and drank a lot, got sunburned, and the most spectacular time.
