Apple Picking

Lorelei and I had a great time apple picking this weekend. Like usual, we probably picked too many. Thank goodness for homemade applesauce.

ROAD TRIP !!!

Well, we never thought we would do it, but, we did the 19 hour road trip to Orlando. We celebrated Lorelei's 8th birthday at Legoland, then checked into a Disney resort and 3 days at the parks. Due to COVID 19 reasons, the parks were only running at 30% max capacity, and it was a dream !!! There was barely any wait for rides and the crowds were SO low. We are spoiled now and can't go back to the way it was! LOL !!!

5:30am and we were on the road. Ready to go!

Our little fish has mastered swimming under water, handstands, and somersaults. Mama too !

We were literally the first ones in the parking lot!

Legoland was great. Their waterpark was better !

We joined the dark side.

Our resort that Disney upgraded us too so we wouldn't cancel the trip.

Lorelei's very special pull out bed.

Our first trip in the Skyliner gondola. Very convenient transportation.

Masked up and ready for Hollywood Studios.

Mama Jamie conquered her fear of upside down loops on the Aerosmith Rock N Roller Coaster. We did it 4 times !!
Pop up parades found us seeing many characters !

The new Star Wars Rise of the Resistance was indescribable !
Lorelei's big (and only) souvenir was build your own R2-D2 droid.

The crowds were SO low at Magic Kingdom that we were able to due the highly coveted Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride 3 times before 9am. This ride is usually an hour wait (on a slow day).
Splash Mountain was excellent!

Aaron confessed his true love to Big Al.

The obligatory turkey leg.

Princess Pop Up Parade.

We were able to get a reservation to the Be Your Guest Restaurant. Very expensive, but, VERY good gourmet food. And, an incredible experience.

The grey stuff was delicious.

The park was closed when dinner was done. This was an incredible moment to see the castle lit up and not be crowded.

Animal Kingdom also had a very low crowd attendance. We did our favorite ride there, Pandora: Flight of Passage 3 times in a row. This ride is normally a 2 hour wait.

Expedition Everest. This was the 3rd time. Mama Jamie sat this one out. You can see Aaron and Lorelei at the very top.

Safari !!!

And, Lorelei became a Wilderness Girl.

This was an incredible Disney trip. BEST EVER !!!!
