Beginning of Spring Break

Since we are not traveling for Spring Break, we are going to make the most of each day. We hit Day 1 and 2 hard with Children's Play Gallery, Skyzone, Oscar's for lunch, and the movies.

 

Legoland !!!

We had a FANTASTIC Sunday filled with Legoland, Cantigny Park, and a Pac-Man themed restaurant for dinner.

YES !!! Day

We watched a very cute movie last weekend called "Yes Day" in which for 24 hours the parents have to say yes to everything the kids want, want to do, where to go, etc. There was no school on Monday and decided to treat Lorelei to her own Yes day. After Mama Jamie had her usual early morning at the Y and got to see a beautiful sunrise, we began. Many of Lorelei's requests were very simple and easy to give (i.e. tickle Mom's ears). She first slept in till almost 9am (thank you Daylight Savings), had Brueggers Bagels for breakfast, a very engaging virtual class called "Weird Things Animals Do", went to Gymlingo with a few friends, had an ice cream sundae for lunch with Grandmama and Papa, went shopping (she loves her Legos and Target), and Mac's N Cheese for dinner. By nightime, Mama was worn out and fell asleep on the couch. It was a great day.

Impromptu Photo Shoot

After last Saturday's volleyball game, we took advantage of the decent weather and went to the park. The sun was shining and Mama had her camera and took some amazing pictures. Lorelei is such a natural.
