Great Start To Summer

Our first few weeks of summer have been busy. Lorelei has started summer school, we went strawberry picking, did a workout down at Summerfest, checked out the new Rock 'N Brews restaurant, celebrated Father's Day, went to an IKEA dinner buffet, ate cheese curds and custard, and even joined Mathnasium (math camp that Lorelei BEGGED to do this summer). 

Girl's Trip !!!

When school was done Lorelei and Mama Jamie went on a girls only trip to Orlando. We went to Universal Studios 'Meet Up' which is like an after hours party where unlimited food and drink throughout the parks was included. We also spent one day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It was REALLY hot this day. We also spent time at Universal CityWalk, Disney Springs, and the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall.

Last Day Of School

Lorelei's last day of school was earlier this month. This was maybe the first time she was REALLY sad about it. She is definitely going to miss her friends this summer.

Lorelei's Last Violin Concert....or Is It ???

This past Wednesday was Lorelei's last violin/orchestra concert as she decided to switch to choir next year. HOWEVER, on the way home she shared that during the concert she realized how much she enjoys it and wants to continue. We made her sleep on it that night and she was sure of her decision to stay with violin. So, the next day we spoke with the school office and she is continuing with violin for 7th grade !!!
