This past Monday, Lorelei and 46 other 8th graders were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. They achieved this milestone by having a 3.75 grade point average in 7th grade, having good attendance, and no disciplinary actions. They must maintain this and do 20+ hours of community service as well. We are very proud of this achievement.
We found a 'Decade Generator' game this weekend. Boy, this was a lot of fun !!!
Lorelei participated in her last homecoming parade with Silver Lake Intermediate. The city turned 150 years old this year !!!
Lorelei is playing fall volleyball this season, again, with the Waukesha Jr. Northstars. It is very short season, but, she is happy to be playing again. This year she is a setter !!!
Lorelei's first two weeks back to school have been great. She's really enjoying all of her classes and is excited for has last year of middle school !!!
We ended our summer with back to school shopping, baking, attending school open house, oh....and, buying a hamster (Squishy McCheese Curd the 3rd).
