Bathtime With Daddy!

Well, it only took a year...but, this week Daddy Aaron gave Lorelei a bath for the first time. And, they both did a GREAT job!

Hello from Shell Lake!

On Saturday, Lorelei's Great Uncle Greg, his wife Monica, and her daughter, Claudia, stopped by for a visit. They gave Lorelei this singing and dancing Minnie the Mouse doll. She loved it immediately!

Last week, I caught Lorelei talking to someone or something in the car.

Fun Birthday Weekend!

This past weekend, we celebrated Mama's 29th birthday again. It started with a relaxing day of exercise, presents from Daddy, playing, and followed by a dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Kurt's Steakhouse. Grandma Honey came out and watched Lorelei and I think she snuck Lorelei some sugar as she stayed up and played with no signs of slowing down until 10pm!! The only bad part of the day was finding out a 5K run Jamie was going to do the next morning was cancelled! Daddy Aaron was smart and remembered that there was another one going on in the next town over, Watertown, where they have an annual festival, Riverfest. Everybody woke up in time and we headed over where Mama Jamie beat her goal of 35 minutes and came in at 32 minutes and change.

Later that day, we went back to Riverfest where we watched our friend, Eric, play in a show as a Neil Diamond impersonator. Lorelei napped for half of it. Below are some pics of her after she had just woken up. Once she was up and ready to go, we even took her on some rides!

 

 

We finished up the day with dinner at Mama's all time favorite restaurant, Solly's, where they have THE best butter burgers in the world. Grandma and Grandpa Kohlweiss watched Lorelei and had a fantastic time playing with her and even took her on a walk!

State Fair, Baby !!

Today we took Lorelei to her first Wisconsin State Fair. We were a little apprehensive about the crowds and how to manuever a stroller through everything. But, Lorelei was a complete angel the entire time we were there and Daddy learned very quickly how to use the stroller as a bulldozer. Mommy was quite impressed!
