Happy 2nd Birthday !!!
Since we were having a big party on the Saturday after Lorelei's birthday, we decided to have a relaxing day. We went to our last class of the session of Messy Bees, a donut treat, and an afternoon at our friend's Miss Penny's house.

Bike Trailer!
Mama treated herself and FINALLY got a bike trailer for her and Lorelei.
PSA---I always wear my bike helmet. I was just going down the block and back here for only 30 seconds and there were no cars coming. :)
State Fair---Round Two!
Daddy took a day off last Friday to being Mama's birthday celebration a day early. We began by first going to Giggle & Wiggle.
We then went to the State Fair and took Lorelei on the Merry-Go-Round, saw family band, saw more animals, got LOTS of flavored milk, and she finally got her cream puff!
What do you mean I have to choose?
Milwaukee Buck, Khris Middleton
Sleepy ride home.
Forward Facing Beauty!
Last Wednesday, we took both our cars to the fire department to get Lorelei's car seats switched to forward facing. It only took about an hour and then we went to Noodles for an early dinner to celebrate. She really seems to enjoy facing forward and it's fun to be able to quick glance back at her and see her smiling.

Sunday Funday!
Today, we took Lorelei to the State Fair. It was very hot and crowded, but, we had a LOT of fun and even met up with Grandma-ma and Papa. We saw Mommy's 1st place (and Judge's Favorite) sweet potato-kale pizza, saw the animals (of course), did some shopping, scored an AMAZING deal on the Milwaukee Sunday Journal, took Lorelei on the Giant Slide, and ate and ate!
After a nap all the way home, we thought we needed to cool down, so, we went to the YMCA for swimming. We had the best time going down the slide, playing with the toys, and doing some really good swimming.
