Talent Show

Lorelei's school talent show was fantastic !! She practiced so hard for her song, "A Million Dreams". Even with her getting a little flustered or as she likes to call it, 'scared fright', she did fantastic and we are SO proud of her.

Snow Day 5 & 6

Yes. 5 and 6. Hopefully this is the end.

Inspired by our new favorite show, "Ellen's Game of Games."

Last Friday night, our favorite rock band, Styx, did a show after the Admirals hockey game. I wore a vintage Styx shirt featuring one of the founding members, James JY Young. Since we got to be in the front row, I got a lot of attention from JY and lots of guitar pics as well.

After a fantastic show including a full rendition of "Mr. Roboto", I was very interested in seeing if we could run into any of the band members. Long story short I ended up backstage at the Milwaukee Arena and got to meet the bassist, Ricky Philips, the drummer, Todd Sucherman, and JY. Snow Day #2, 3, 4, AND 5

As I update the blog, we are currently in our 5th 'snow day' of the year. School has been closed due to snow, extreme cold, and today is freezing rain. This is crazy !!!

Brewers On Deck

We went to Brewers On Deck today. The last time we attended was with Lorelei in 2014. There was so much to do there and we stayed from 11am till about 4pm. We did pitching and catching clinics with former player, Jerry Augustine, and Lorelei made quite an impression on him !!! We met all the sausages, played air hockey, met many players, met many mascots and even got them to autograph a ball,

Snow Day #1

We had our first snow day of the year last Wednesday. We stayed home in our pajamas all day and were busy all day. We pulled out our 'activity jar' and had so much fun !! We played with our LOL dolls, played Legoes, play-doh, made snow ice cream, made brownies, played in the snow, worked on our new unicorn tent, and so much more !!
