Happy Last Day of School !!!

We spent the official last day of school by playing, having a quick visit from Lorelei's teacher, making Frozen Hot Chocolate, participating in a school car parade, having Lorelei's favorite Noodles lunch, and watching movies all afternoon as storms came through.

Butterflies !!

Over the past several weeks, Lorelei has been raising caterpillars which turned into chrysalis, and finally beautiful ten Painted Lady butterflies emerged. We released them yesterday.

Summer Vacation Started Early

Summer vacation has started early !! Warm weather is here, city beach is hopping, playdates are happening!! Let's play !!

 

Class With Dr. Mayim Bialik

We had a very interesting opportunity this week to have a class with Dr. Mayim Bialik, otherwise known as, Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler from "The Big Bang Theory"! She is a neuroscientist and led a very interesting discussion about what neuroscience is, the parts of the brain, and what each part controls.

Yup! We're Still Home !!!

Still home for several more weeks. Trying to make the most of it with exercise, projects, and going outside when the weather permits.

Another One Gone !!!

Lorelei lost another tooth this week. It was 3/4 hanging off her gums at bedtime and in fear that it would fall off while she was sleeping, we pulled that sucker !!!

Happy Easter !!

We had a nice Easter weekend at home with bike rides, various Easter projects, cooking, a scavenger hunt, and a special visitor.

We did a scavenger hunt to find Lorelei's Easter basket this year.

Goat cheese spinach stuffed pork tenderloin. Yum !
