Quite some time ago I heard about how you can have a fancy Afternoon Tea at the Pfister. Lorelei and I finally got to enjoy it last weekend. She tried, but, Lorelei does not like tea. So, she enjoyed a hot chocolate instead and all of the snacks they gave us as well. It was such a fancy and elegant experience.
Andra & Voxie got to visit Lorelei's classroom and school while they were here. It was a great discussion of the differences between Voxie's and Lorelei's school. We discussed the differences in the calendar year, the day, school activities, snacks, foods, games they play, and much more. The kids were very engaged and asked some fantastic questions.
It was a fun-filled weekend visiting with Andra and Voxie. We had snow days, magic shows, 2 sleepovers, Concord Zoo, library, shopping, snacking, bacon, Marco Polo, swimming, Noodles, Goodwill and more !!!!!!!
Whew !!! Back to back weekends of tournaments. At least this one was better than last weekend. :) We found ourselves at UW-Parkside on Sunday morning at 7am. We were faced with some challenges and tried our best. The team ended in 3rd place !!! Pretty good!!
Best part was Lorelei trying out her overhand serve skills.
Yesterday was the latest volleyball tournament, Fusion Freeze. They ended in 6th place (out of 8). They didn't play as well as they would like, BUT, they played all 11 year old teams and because they played so well in the last tournament they actually moved up a bracket, so, they were definitely being challenged.
But, Grandmama, Papa, and Aunt Maureen coming to watch made her feel like a winner.
