Recovery Week

It's been quite a busy, but, yet still relaxing week recovering from Lorelei's birthday party last weekend. Two exciting things happened this week--we began experimenting with brushing our teeth and we hit 19 pounds on the scale!! We began whole milk last week so I think that has helped with some weight gain.

Birthday Party!

We had Lorelei's 1st Birthday Party this past Saturday and it was a tremendous success! Family and friends came from all over the state and even out of state. Lorelei greeted each guest in her pink, frilly dress and was an angel the whole time. She enjoyed the attention, the presents, and of course, the cake. I just think we needed a bit more pink. ;)

Happy 1st Birthday!

On Lorelei's 1st Birthday, we spent the whole day at the zoo! Grandma-ma and Aunt Jenny were even able to join us. Although it rained for a good chunk of the day, we made the best of it and were all troopers!

 

Last Day of Under 1 Years Old!

On Lorelei's last day of being under 1 years old, she showed us how she can still get the MESSIEST face ever (thank you pureed lasagna) and how she is learning how to walk with the help of her new walker toy.

 

 

Bathtime With Daddy!

Well, it only took a year...but, this week Daddy Aaron gave Lorelei a bath for the first time. And, they both did a GREAT job!

Hello from Shell Lake!

On Saturday, Lorelei's Great Uncle Greg, his wife Monica, and her daughter, Claudia, stopped by for a visit. They gave Lorelei this singing and dancing Minnie the Mouse doll. She loved it immediately!
