Dude Ranch !!!

Earlier this month, Grandma Honey and Pop took the entire family to the Woodside Ranch in Mauston, Wisconsin which is about 30 minutes past the Wisconsin Dells.

We stayed in the Eagles Nest cabin, ate awesome meals, went horse-back riding, played in the pool, ate smores, watched "Frozen" (of course), did karaoke, played dodgeball, had unlimited pony rides, and so much more!

Here is a picture of Aaron at 3 years old wearing what we have nick-named the 'Star Trek' outfit. And, then here is a picture of Lorelei wearing the EXACT same outfit. Grandma Honey has saved this outfit for over 44 years!!!

 

State Fair, Baby!!!

The Wisconsin State Fair is going on this week, and Lorelei has already been there twice. First, we all went together and Lorelei rode a few rides and of course, the Giant Slide. We also had our standard duck fajitas and lots of flavored milk.

Instead of a cream puff, Lorelei chose to eat a Gordon Bob burger.....

a cheeseburger with shaved ham on it!

5 minutes into the ride home.

 

 

Then, Mama Jamie took Lorelei to the fair all by herself. We did racing pigs, saw a very fun kid show (Jump With Jill), did zumba dancing, had a cream puff, chocolate covered bacon, drank strawberry milk, saw the animals, and so much more!

Afterwards, we went to visit Grandma-ma and Papa and while we were there Auntie Maureen (Momo) stopped over. The last time they saw each other was at Lorelei's 1st birthday party!!

 

I didn't surprise me that Lorelei fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Didn't surprise me that she stayed asleep when I took her out. But, it did surprise me that after we carried her up to bed, she slept thru the night until 7am !!!
