Camp Sunshine !!!

We enrolled Lorelei in Camp Sunshine for this week. The week's theme was based on the famous Eric Carle books ("The Very Hungry Caterpillar"). They did sidewalk chalk, did a scavenger hunt, crafts, songs, and even went swimming. It was a great 3 hours a day.

 

 

 

Country Springs Waterpark

While Mama Jamie was busy running the Spring Rummage, Daddy Aaron took Lorelei to Country Springs Waterpark. This girl knows no fear !!! Here are some awesome videos.

 

 

 

Build-A-Bear !!!

Lorelei got to get a present at Build-A-Bear for the first time last week. This was a Congratulations on Finishing Sunshine School / I'm Sorry Mama Will Be Pre-Occupied With The Rummage Sale This Week Present. She had been in Build-A-Bear before, but, we never purchased anything. She knew exactly what she wanted and it was a great experience!

 

 

Last Day of Sunshine School !!

Today was Lorelei's last day of 3K/Sunshine School. She did great all year and really seemed to enjoy it. She has learned a lot from her teachers and made lots of new friends. I asked her on the way home, what was her favorite part of Sunshine School and she said Snack Time. Like mother, like daughter.

Happy Memorial Day !!

We had a great Memorial Day this year as we were blessed with great weather and a happy girl (as we were very cranky the day before). We went for a walk and played at the park, we played baseball, soccer, slip n slide, sprinkler, saw the Oconomowoc parade, and went out for Chinese (isn't that a tradition)? :)

 

Panther Fun !!

Today was the most incredible, awesome day. We participated in a 5K run at Lorelei's elementary school, Park Lawn Elementary. The Panther Dash and Kids Fun Run was just fantastic. Honey and Pop came out to watch Lorelei while Mama Jamie and Daddy Aaron ran. We ran very well and very fast at both coming in under 28 minutes and only 3 seconds apart !!!

 

 

 

 

Lorelei also participated in the Kids Run and she did awesome. It was a 1/4 mile !!! And, she ended up finishing with the school's principal, Mrs. Jennifer Jones.
