Dance Camp

Lorelei went to her first 'Dance Camp' which was just a morning event. But, it was at a real dance studio in town, 5678 Dance. The theme was all about Princess Sofia the First. Her and 4 or 5 other girls danced, did crafts, and had a snack. Mama got to grocery shop and clean the house for 3 hours. When I picked her up, the teacher said she was very into it and was smiling the whole time. Lorelei told me later she 'really liked that' and wanted to do it again.

State Fair Day #2 and #3 !!

I took Lorelei to the State Fair again last week mostly to see a show called "Jump With Jill". We saw them last year and fell in love with them. It's a show with songs all about eating healthy and exercising. We went to both shows, Jill said she remembered Lorelei from last year, and Lorelei even got to be part of the band.

We also got to meet up with Grandma and Papa and we did the slide, shared a corn, saw Eric Diamond, the pig races, saw almost all of the animals, and much more.

I love this pic as I was working two cameras and got Grandma-ma's reflection in this one. :)

Enjoy the videos. I took about 20 this day and had a tough time narrowing it down to just these.

We went to the State Fair as a family this past weekend too. We did the Giant Slide again, the little piggy slide, Power Jump again, saw animals, our favorite juggler, Kenny Ahren, and much more.

Play Ball !!

Lorelei had a nice thrill last week when she got to play baseball with Bernie Brewer. We went to a local charity event that was raising money in honor of a young boy who had a heart defect, but, unfortunately passed away the day before his 2nd birthday. They had food, hair and face paint, a bouncy house, and then Bernie showed up. She did great!

State Fair !!!

Last Friday, I took Lorelei to the State Fair. Characters from one of her favorite shows, "Paw Patrol" were there. I wasn't sure how long we'd stay, but, I sure didn't plan on being there from 11am to almost 8pm. We saw Paw Patrol (that whole experience was 2+ hours due to having to stand in line so long), our favorite children's performers Duke Otherwise and Kenny Ahren, ate some yummy food, and Mama conquered her fear of the Giant Slide!!!

Milwaukee Day !!

Last week was free day at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Always looking for free things to do so we went down there and enjoyed her favorite sites and of course, the Butterfly Garden.

And, it wouldn't be a complete trip to Milwaukee without seeing the Bronz Fonz. However, I didn't think we would stop at the Safehouse for both of our first times to enjoy a burger and a special early birthday dessert.
