State Fair

Today is the 4th day of the State Fair and we've already gone 3 times !!!

Lorelei took 4th place for her Under the Sea sculpture and 1st place for her celery sculpture. She made a Christmas tree !!!

 Mama Jamie took 4th place with her bacon-cheese scones. There were 27 entries!!!

We have enjoyed baked potatoes, ice cream, duck fajitas, corn dogs, donuts, flavored milk, the giant slide (twice), pig races, and watching our competitions.

Triathlon !!!

Lorelei participated in a triathlon again this year. Since she was in an older age bracket this year, she had to go a bit longer than last year. This one took her 16 minutes to complete!!

Lorelei's First Slumber Party

Last Friday, Lorelei had her first slumber party with her best friends, Ellie and Maisy. We had a great night of playing board games, karaoke, movie watching, and lots of giggling! It was a very successful night of no fighting, arguing, or crying. :)

Waukesha County Fair

Last week, I took Lorelei to the Waukesha County Fair. It was dollar parking, admission, and ride day. We had the best time going on the rides, seeing the pig, duck, and goat races, petting the animals, and we even got to hold a monkey!!

Summer PAR-TAY !!!!

The annual summer party we're invited to every year was today. Our hosts say this will be the last year and if it is, we sure did go out with a bang. The usual all the food and drink you can eat were there, along with cupcakes, pinatas, water slides, and games. But, also this year they had amusement park rides, camel rides, and even a kangaroo...yes, a kangaroo !!!
