A Little B & B at the Cambridge House

This past weekend, we took our annual mini-getaway to the Cambridge House in Cambridge, WI. It is only 40 minutes away, so, it's a short drive...but, just long enough you feel like you're away from everything. After packing and loading the car with everything from the Pack N Play to toys, books, diapers, food, and about 5 different outfits for Lorelei, we were ready to go!

The owners of the Cambridge House, Jeff & Linda, are always so inviting and a pleasure to visit with. Linda enjoyed reading and playing with Lorelei.

 

 

This time so that Lorelei would have more room to roam around, we got the two-room suite, which included two Jacuzzi tubs!

 

 Every night they offer juice and the most amazing cookies ever!

 

Mama was worried Lorelei wouldn't sleep well being in an unfamiliar environment. But, she had (unintentionally) missed her afternoon nap, and after a little crying, we slept all through the night!

 

The next morning, Jeff, makes the most amazing gourmet breakfast. He even made a special plate for Lorelei. Linda was kind enough to sit with and help feed Lorelei so Mama & Daddy could sit and  enjoy their meal. All the other guests were impressed that she ate so well!

And, sadly it was time to go. But, not before Lorelei 'hammed' it up for everyone one more time.
