Daddy here. Saturday, 4/12/14, was a fun-filled day! Mommy was working hard securing her "Body Pump" certification so Lorelei and Daddy were on our own. We started our day with a brief trip to the library to see Wildlife animals (turtle, snake, and a woodchuck). We then made our way to not only (1) - Walgreens, but (2) -Stein Gardens Easter Bunnies. Lorelei was primed for a car ride nap as we made our way to Madison for WI Badger Football Fan Fest. Our first stop was to visit Pop's brick. Then, we "selfied" pictures with Bucky Badger as the lines for everything were dozens of people deep. Superstar running back, Melvin Gordon, was signing autographs next to Bucky. Daddy tried to position Lorelei to the side of the autograph table to snap a shot. Melvin noticed and interrupted his signing session to walk over and pick Lorelei up for a few pictures! Daddy thought he'd try his luck with starting quarterback, Joel Stave, as well. Sure enough we got pix (and snuck in a few autographs) with him and other Badgers. When we finished wandering the fest, it was Ella's Deli time! Lorelei enjoyed the merry-go-round much more this time than last year. Daddy's little trooper napped on the ride back home, and was well rested enough to keep playing through the night!
